CLIENT SUCCESS STORY

This claim appeared unfavorable for our client, who was making a left-hand turn at an intersection. The dashcam footage indicated that the opposite lane was clear when our insured initiated the turn. However, the claimant asserted they were traveling at 37 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone, which did not align with their claim of insufficient time to react and avoid the collision with our insured vehicle. The claimant also reported sustaining a concussion from the accident and was transported by ambulance from the scene. With this understanding of the claim, this could have become a large claim for our client.

The Adjuster demonstrated exceptional diligence in his investigation by engaging Advantage Investigations to perform an Event Data Recorder (EDR) download. The results revealed that the claimant’s vehicle was traveling at 62 mph five seconds before the impact, with minimal deceleration. These findings were highly satisfactory to our client, as they confirmed that our insured was not at fault. The Adjuster is now sending a denial for this claim and working towards closing with no payments issued to the claimant.
